Principal

Dear McKinley Students and Families,

Fairfield Public Schools is pleased to welcome Mrs. Christine Booth as principal of McKinley School effective December 18, 2023.

A practiced administrator, Mrs. Booth has expertise in building and maintaining a positive learning environment for all by fostering strong relationships with staff, students, families and community members.  

Mrs. Booth has spent 22 years in the Bridgeport Public Schools community serving as teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and the last 5 years as principal of a PK- 8th grade school.  In her role as principal, Mrs. Booth worked closely with the Parent Advisory Council on school events and climate initiatives. Additionally, Mrs. Booth's work as an instructional leader has had a positive impact upon many areas including MTSS (multi-tiered system of support), special education, social emotional learning, attendance and school improvement. 

Mrs. Booth completed her graduate studies in education at Sacred Heart University earning her Master of Arts in Teaching and her 092 in Educational Leadership.  In her free time, Mrs. Booth enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.
